DIY Doormat

Happy Wednesday friends!
Today I'm going to show you how to make a super cute doormat for your front door! I've been seeing these cute diy doormats all over pinterest, so I thought I would try and make my own.
Below are the step-by-step instructions on how to make your own!
You will need a doormat of your choice, paint, tape, paint brushes, and letter stencils.
Love this paint! It's very durable and a great price!
(under a $1 at Hobby Lobby)
1. Pick out what you want your diy doormat to say
2. Lay out your letters on the doormat and tape them down
3. Start painting!
4. Remove letters and let dry (overnight)
It was fun little weekend project and I plan on doing another one for our back door. Next time I would do a few things differently. I think smaller letters would have been better for this mat, they were a little big (I had to freehand the last row). I also think I would go with a brighter color, I do plan on going back with white and making an outline on this mat.
I really hope you enjoyed this diy and try it for yourself! I would love to see pictures if you make one, just tag me or use the hashtag #myltlblog!

Happy Monday friends!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday weekend!
We had a great weekend filled with good food, visiting with friends, and relaxing.
Below are some photos of our weekend!
Always enjoy getting some Starbucks and taking some blog photos with the very sweet Alli from { CWSD }
Thank you Scotty for taking all my blog photos. Love him!
Saturday we had friends over for brunch, it was so nice getting to visit!
Bruce spent his 4th of July hanging out with his cousin Alfred.
Of course I had to get a funnel cake!
and we ended our weekend building a fort in our living! We watched I Love You Man (one of our favorites movies) and had cocktails and popcorn.
Leave me a comment below! What did you do for the weekend?

Untitled #16 by myltlblog featuring a lightweight blanket
- I think every newlywed couple should have a Kitchenaid Mixer , they last forever and always makes a great gift!
- Towels seem to always be a go to when shopping for a newlywed couple, but can get a little boring when most gift givers play it safe with going with a plain white towel. A great way to switch it up is with these Mr. & Mrs. Towels.
- Another great kitchen item a Custom Monogram Cutting Board.
- Pillows are very poplar right and make a great gift, this Mr. & Mrs. Pillow.
- Picture frames are always a perfect gift for the couple to put a picture in from the big day Kate Spade Picture Frame.
- A cozy blanket is a such a sweet gift, plus it can monogrammed or you can put whatever you want on it Pottery Barn Monogrammed Throw.
- Glassware Kate Spade Mr. & Mrs.Glasses.
